Sussex & Kent Kitchen and Bathroom renewals
Following a competitive tender process, we were awarded the Sussex area kitchen and bathroom renewals contract.
We undertook a full mobilisation process working alongside the client to undertake a pilot programme to ensure that we were engaging well with both the residents and the clients team, and then rising to 8 kitchens and 3 bathrooms per week. Now accelerated to opening 12 kitchens and 6 bathrooms per week.
Part way through the Sussex contract, the contract in the Kent area suddenly required re-enabling after the sad demise of a long term contract provider there.
We undertook the same mobilisation and pilot programme procedure, and are now delivering 8 kitchens and 3 bathrooms per week alongside the original contract.
A high degree of advanced planning and resident surveys and choice to “bank” enough surveys to ensure a constant flow of works, even if we encountered “no Access” issues on commencement days.
Working extremely closely with the client team to monitor the annual expenditure, and level out any possible events that affected spend.
Ongoing IT development of how the day to day running and compliance of the work could be assured using innovative ideas that were jointly trialled with the Client.
We have already renewed over 2000 kitchens, and 1300 bathrooms. on this programme, achieving Customer Satisfaction scores in excess of 99 %
