Sussex electrical compliance and improvement Contract

Following a competitive tender process, we were awarded the Sussex area Electrical compliance and improvement contract.

Working across the entire Sussex area, we have been working closely with the Clients Compliance team to meet the targets set within Southern Housing, exceeding 1,000 properties per annum to EICR Test & Inspect, and undertake improvements to fixed electrical installations, also upgrading fire and smoke detection to Grade D standards in their domestic portfolio.

We engaged with the client to smooth out the peaks and troughs of the test expiry dates that was a legacy of the previous arrangements, so that going forward the workflow would be more sustained, and easier to undertake and manage year on year.

A dedicated team within Booker & Best manages the residents appointments, and work in real time to redeploy resources in the event of “no access” to reduce cost impacts on the client.
