We are looking for qualified/approved electricians to predominantly work on our periodic test and inspection contract. Other works will include consumer unit replacements, fault finding and installation works.

We are working as an established electrical compliance specialist in the UK who complete domestic EICR work, you will be working on large contracts in the social housing sector and more.

A full clean driving licence is required also an Enhanced DBS will also be required, which Booker & Best Ltd will undertake.

Booker & Best Ltd currently have a full-time opportunity for a qualified / approved Electrician / Tester to join our company. We are a well established firm working within Commercial, Domestic and Industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities for this role will include but not inclusive:

• Main role is testing in on our Social Housing Contract to install, test inspect and maintain electrical systems across a variety of sites..
• Conduct relevant testing, electrical certification, fault finding and remedial works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with company policies, procedures and requirements

Essential skills / Experience required for this role:

• ECS Gold Card or BS7671 – 18th Edition Qualified
• C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Electrotechnical)
• Certificated qualifications and demonstrated knowledge and experience in electrical testing, installation and maintenance. (City and Guilds 2391 or 2394 / 2395 preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of testing experience in a similar environment
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data, drawings and instruction.
• Ability to work within a team and independently with attention to detail and some lone working where necessary.
• Positive attitude, adaptability to client needs, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
• The successful candidate will hold a Full Clean UK Driver’s Licence.
