You will be required to travel within the East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent regions in domestic households, schools, colleges and public building for which a company vehicle will be provided.

A full clean driving licence is required.

The role:

Plumbing engineer to work from our Hailsham Branch serving properties in the Wealden district area on a long term maintenance contract.

• The primary role is to carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in a domestic setting in mainly Council owned housing stock.
• Initial 1 Year Fixed term Contract – then permanent option.
• Reporting to the Reactive Repairs Contracts Manager.
• To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance.
• Working 40 hours per week from 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday – pre agreed flexibility on hours can be discussed to suit child care etc.
• Requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota.

You may be required to participate in our on-call rota typically 1 week in 5.

Working hours will be 07:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. Part time or reduced hours may be considered.
